KVS offers a full range of mechanical valve repair and diagnostic services from simple re-packs to major overhauls, including complete rebuilds to customer and OEM specification.

Designed to optimise valve performance, safety and service life, work is carried out either at customers’ premises or at our workshop in Gloucester. We offer a same day turnaround service aimed at supporting customers’ planned maintenance schedules and insurance inspection dates.

KVS’s mechanical valve repair and overhaul process

  1. Initial assessment, including testing where appropriate
  2. Dismantling, cleaning and inspection of all valve parts
  3. Produce QC report with recommended work to optimise mechanical valve performance
  4. Repair parts, as required, to OEM specifications
  5. Replace internals with genuine OEM spares or, if required, reverse engineer to the same specification
  6. Assemble to OEM specifications
  7. Valve fully tested to BS EN 12266-1:2012 to the full design pressure of the valve
  8. Tag and certify valve.
  9. Test certificate sent electronically
  10. QC report and test certificates saved in IVS QMS system
  11. Dispatch either with an IVS-designated driver or a courier
