Established in 1989, Kestrel Valve Services (KVS) is one of the UK’s leading valve maintenance, testing and overhaul companies for control valves, pressure safety relief valves and all types of mechanical valves.
We’re on hand throughout a valve’s lifecycle, managing and overhauling valves ranging from 0.5 inches (12mm) to 78 inches (2m) in diameter. Overcoming obsolescence issues and long lead times for replacement parts, our fully-equipped service centre includes reverse engineering capability.
KVS’s mobile engineering teams provide a comprehensive range of on-site services, including installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, and repairs.
To minimise downtime and process disruption, our services include emergency callouts.

Our 5,000 sq ft workshop is dedicated to maintaining, repairing and overhauling all types of industrial valves. Facilities include:
- Specific bays for the overhaul, testing and certification of safety valves, control valves and mechanical valves
- An industrial lapping and machine shop
- Bespoke paint bay
